200,000 Yutong zero-tailpipe-emission vehicles delivered globally

This milestone of 200,000 zero tailpipe emission vehicles has been reached less than 25 years after the very first vehicle was placed into service in 1999. The volume includes both buses and coaches; and electric and hydrogen variants.

Ian Downie, Head of Yutong Sales for Pelican Bus + Coach commented:

“This is a major achievement as the vehicles have already completed 44.2 billion kms of operational service. Our tried, tested, and proven products continue to be at the vanguard of zero-emission technology. This represents reducing carbon emissions by 27 million tons – equivalent to planting 140,000 hectares of trees”.
