As one of the leading events in the transport industry calendar, Euro Bus Expo 2024 provided the perfect platform to showcase six of our vehicles, reconnect with valued customers, and welcome new faces.
The Pelican stand was a hub of activity throughout the three day event and attracted hundreds of visitors. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many attendees praising the vehicles, design of the stand and knowledgeable team on site.
Our sizeable 360º stand enabled us to exhibit six models from our comprehensive Yutong bus and coach range: the GTe14, GT12, TC9, U11DD; E12 and E9L.
In addition to presenting our vehicles, the stand incorporated a VR booth which allowed visitors to experience the Yutong Factory test centre and view all the safety tests conducted including a high speed loop test, a rain test and a test on how the vehicles handle steep inclines. Viewers were also treated to a virtual guided tour through the Yutong vehicle assembly line, giving them an unparalleled, first-hand look at the meticulous safety measures which are prioritised in every aspect of the manufacturing process.
A special highlight of the event was welcoming our recently retired colleague, Phil Hodgson who stopped by the stand with his wife Diane, to celebrate his 80th birthday with us. It was a joy to honour Phil’s incredible contributions to Pelican over the years with a celebratory cake in the café area of our stand. His visit was a reminder of the strong relationships that define our company, both within our team and with our customers.
With such a memorable event behind us, we’re already looking forward to Euro Bus Expo 2026 and hope to see you there!
