First Yutong GT12 for Mainline Coaches

Mainline welcomed their first Yutong GT12 to their fleet; joining the previous Yutong TC9s they had purchased from Pelican Bus + Coach. 

This is the second Yutong Lee McMahon has sold to Mainline Coaches this year. The operator also has another TC9 due imminently and a GT12 on order for next year.

Chris Mainwaring, Managing Director of Mainline Coaches explained why they chose the 53-seat executive coach:

“After successfully operating Yutong TC9s since 2017, we decided to invest in a Yutong GT12. We chose to purchase this GT12 from Pelican because we were impressed by the styling and vehicle build quality plus the great service we have received from Lee McMahon and Pelican Aftersales.”

The 12-metre coach is fully PSVAR compliant. The 53 seats are trimmed in burnt orange half-leather. The vehicle benefits from USBs, power sockets, adaptive cruise control, wood effect flooring, and many more luxury features fitted as standard. Power is from the DAF MX-11 engine developing 450bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox.

The latest purchase continues a strong relationship between Mainline and Pelican Bus + Coach. It is a pleasure working with the team at Mainline.
