We are delighted to launch the latest addition to our zero-emission product range – the E9L, on Clean Air Day 2023.
We have already seen excellent reviews for our E9 in operation with Leicester City Council. Passengers welcome the air conditioned comfort and smooth operation of the vehicle, and at 2.4 metres wide, drivers appreciate the manoeuvrability through the city.
The E9L is a longer version of the E9, at 9.5 metres overall length. The E9L is a single door version, with wheelchair access through the front door.
“Passengers really appreciated the ease of loading on the E9, particular wheelchair users with direct access to the wheelchair area. Feedback from customers also requested a more traditional access to the vehicle, and we are delighted to bring this new version to the UK. It can be used for conventional bus operations, and with its E9 relation, offers even more flexibility for demand response transport as well. It has the fit and finish of a full size bus, but in a midibus envelope.
The first vehicles will be in the UK Q1 2023, with 11 off being ordered already, with a customer to be announced shortly.
