Pelican Delivers Their 1000th Yutong Vehicle to the UK

Pelican delivered their 1000th Yutong product into the UK to Transdev Airport Services over the Christmas period. The vehicle is one of an order for 17 off E12 zero tailpipe emission buses delivered to the company.

The state of the art vehicles will be utilised for Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport, and are fitted with dual doors and luggage racks. They will serve the Terminal car parks as well as provide transport for Heathrow colleagues. The vehicle specification is customer centric, with full electric air conditioning, high backed seats and LED lighting.

Pelican delivered the first Yutong coach into the UK in 2015. Since that delivery, Pelican have enhanced the product portfolio, and now offer 2 diesel and 2 electric coach offerings, as well as 6 different electric buses, including single deck, double deck and airport products. The 1000th vehicle is an important milestone in 2023, and is testament to the product and aftermarket services that Pelican offers to the UK customers.
